BlackBerry App World: Why this is the must have for all BlackBerry Users.
So you’ve just got this shiny new Blackberry, or you may be a long term user and want to know how to get some great apps (Applications) on your BlackBerry device. Well, the answer to that question is quite simple. RIM, who makes the BlackBerry product, has launched a service called BlackBerry App World which allows you to download many great apps directly to your BlackBerry device.

There are two ways to download an app to your BlackBerry using  Blackberry App World. One way is the newly launched website that allows you to review BlackBerry apps in the BlackBerry App Store from your computer. Click here to visit the storeÂ

The second and most popular way is to download the BlackBerry App World application directly on to your BlackBerry device. Then look for the App in either the applications or the download folder. Next click on the BlackBerry App World icon and you should be taken to a screen that looks like the one on the left. You can then review all the applications that are available to you from anyplace and at anytime. You will be suprised to find that many of the apps are free, have a free trail period, or have a very small cost. You can download the BlackBerry World App onto your BlackBerry by going to www.BlackBerry.com/appworld using the BlackBerry web browser.
Finally, if you have downloaded the BlackBerry App Store before, you might be happy to know that RIM has updated the application to version 1.1 which now offers faster browsing and the ability to archive apps onto your MicroSD card to free up some space.
