You’ve got to see this thing to believe it. Adam over at Crackberry did a post on this product, and I had to check it out for myself. If you’re like me and HATE dealing with either looking for your BlackBerry charging cord, or trying to plug your BlackBerry into the little USB port in the dark; then this might just be the thing you’re looking for. According to the team over at PowerMat, ” The PowerMat is a cordless charging solution that provides a simple, fast and efficient way to charge all your portable devices. “ Now that’s what I call, a whole new level of cool. Ok now that you get the point of the product, how great would it be to just walk-in the door and toss your BlackBerry or any other device that requires charging onto one of the 3 pads and it’s starts to charge?! How about a full product demo, well take a look at the next video.
After watching the product overview, I had to agree with Adam on how much weight and size the battery door will add to the BlackBerry. If it makes it heavier or unsuitable for your cases, and you have to take the special door on and off, then other than looking cool in your living room or office, it kind of throws a monkey wrench in the whole thing if you’ve got to track down your battery door to charge your phone.
