Well, the holidays are truly here with BlackBerrys raining from the sky. Verizon Wireless follows up their launch of the BlackBerry Storm2 with the BlackBerry 8530 in not just 1 but 2 colors; Smokey Violet and Black. For many current Verizon BlackBerry users this will be a welcome cost effective upgrade to their aging BlackBerry 8330.
The 8530 is the first CDMA BlackBerry to sport the new optical trackpad that T-Mobile users have fallen in love with on the 8520 and 9700. But, unlike its GSM counter part, the BlackBerry 8530 is supercharged with 3G EVDO speed, Wifi, GPS and the new BlackBerry 5.0 OS.
