beejiveim_for_blackberry

If you are not already familair with the BeeJive Instant Messager app, BeejiveIM is a mobile IM application for BlackBerry handhelds. Beejive allows you to use AIM®/iChat®/MobileMe®, MSN®/Windows Live®, Yahoo!®, MySpace, GoogleTalk®, SameTime®, ICQ®, & Jabber all in one application instead of you switching between them on your BlackBerry. Here is a list of some of the things you can do with the app.

Accounts & Buddies

Manage your buddy list, including add/remove, nicknames, groups, blocking, & approve/deny requests.

Set custom status messages, be invisible, set an auto-away status, & change privacy controls.

Buddy icon support for AIM®, Yahoo®, Gtalk®, MSN®, & Jabber.

Configurable alerts, fully integrates with your BlackBerry alert profiles.

Customizable sound, vibrate, & LED settings and an optional global popup on new messages.

Buddy pounce alerts you when specific buddies come online.

Chatting:

Real-time chats: quick switch between multiple simultaneous chats.

Group Chat Support for AIM®, Yahoo®, MSN®, and Jabber.

Customizable chat skins & emoticon support.

Click to browse, call, send an email, or PIN message directly from the chat screen.

Full Unicode support, chat in any language supported by your BlackBerry.

Conversation history: view or email past chats.

The team at Beejive is testing some new features in this beta release and is giving you the chance to try them out.

- file transfers via link, you can now transfer files to buddies on all IM accounts.
- email push when app running in background (see preferences in app).

- various other bug fixes & enhancements
This beta is not supported on devices with OS’s below 4.2.1.

This is beta software and not a production release. Bugs and defects are to be expected, please report any defects in the BeeJive forum.

Installation Instructions:
- Fully delete your current installation of BeejiveIM if you are using the app.(including any modules).
- Restart your BlackBerry
- Use the links below to install the beta based on your phone’s OS. To find this go to Options -> About on your BlackBerry
