

After a few people read my article on freeing up memory on your BlackBerry, I received a few questions on how to setup your BlackBerry to save pictures and videos to your MicroSD card. Well thanks to the crew over at BlackBerry Connections, I have great detailed instructions on how to get this done. Ok, lets get started.
Change the default location for saving photos and videos
To set where photos are stored by default, follow these steps:

- From the home screen, press the Menu key.
- Select the Camera application.
- Once the camera application has loaded, press the Menu key
- Select Options.
- At the bottom of the options menu, you can change whether pictures are stored on the media card or in device memory. You can also change which folder pictures are saved in.
To set the default location for stored videos, follow these steps:

- From the home screen, press the Menu key.
- Select Media.
- Select Videos.
- From the Videos menu, select the Video Camera application, located at the top of the list application, located at the top of the list.
You can also access the video camera through the camera application:- From the home screen, press the Menu key.
- Select the Camera application.
- Press the Menu key.
- Select Video Camera.
- Press the Menu key.
- Select Options.
- Press the Menu key.
- Select Options.
- At the bottom of the options menu, you can change which folder videos are stored in by default.
A media card is required to record a video and videos cannot be stored on the device memory.
