Sprint users could be suffering a double outage. BlackBerry Email & TexT Messaging!!

Sprint

With BlackBerry BIS suffering an outage, many users have moved to SMS ( Text Messaging). DeviceMag just reported that those of you who’re using Sprint should be aware that the operator is experiencing some technical difficulties right now, and if you’re expecting an important SMS message by someone who’s using Sprint’s services, you should that person right away – you likely won’t receive their message otherwise.

Sprint users who’re trying to send SMS messages right now are receiving the following message: “The message could not be delivered due to a network setup error. Please contact Customer Care. Error 2112.” Contacting their support center if you have any additional information should be useful, but keep in mind they’re probably already aware of the issue and are working on it, and simply calling to inform them that their network doesn’t work would just waste their time.

The problem should be resolved shortly, you can still receive messages just fine, as long as they’re coming from another operator.
