Update : Dec 23, 2009 12: 27 AM :
Research In Motion Ltd has posted a statement saying they apologize for any inconvenience experienced by customers, and it’s technicians are working to resolve the outages affecting users in North and South America, and also countries located in the Caribbean.
Phone calling and texting services appeared to be functional, but users in the have been unable to send or receive e-mail messages, or use any instant messenger clients since data services are also affected. RIM’s emergency response team is working to fix the issue but no time frame has been given as of yet.
Yes again, RIM is suffering  another nationwide BlackBerry Data service outage across all wireless carriers. This time it appears to be a complete data network failure. With no email, BlackBerry Messenger, or instant messaging services of any kind. As a Verizon user myself, I noticed that my service indicator went from 1XEV to 1xev which means no BlackBerry data service. After a reboot 1XEV returned but still no data services. We will provide updates as soon as information becomes available, be sure to follow us on twitter @bbdreamblog for instant updates.
