BlackBerry FAQ: How to Post your BlackBerry Videos to YouTube, then Facebook.

As a Facebook user myself, I see plenty of YouTube videos posted by my friends. The only thing is that most of them are other peoples’ videos, and I guess the reason is that currently the Facebook for BlackBerry App does not offer video upload support. Well this may be a good workaround to help you send your videos to Facebook.  Gabi posted this weekend a great little tidbit on how to get your mobile videos posted directly to YouTube. Well, we all know you can add YouTube videos to your Facebook profile.  So all you need to do is upload your BlackBerry videos to YouTube, and then post them to Facebook.   I sure there are some apps that support this, but this is just too simple to ignore. According to Gabi, all you have to do is the following:

log on to YouTube from your computer, click on account (If you dont have an account, then create one.), and then look for a link on the left-hand side called “Mobile Setup.” You may need to specify and/or register your mobile phone number…but at the end of that process, YouTube will tell you a unique email address to which you can send your mobile videos. Save that into your BlackBerry as a contact, and then once you’ve taken a video with your BlackBerry, just email it to that address, and Presto! Your BlackBerry video is now uploaded to your YouTube account. Once you’ve uploaded to your account, select the post/send to Facebook and your done.
