Many BlackBerry users out there used to be fans of the original BlackBerry 8100 Series smartphone. It gave them the feel of a phone but still packed all the BlackBerry goodies. Then RIM decided to take the BlackBerry Pearl series in a whole new direction by redesigning it as a clamshell flip phone. Well that didn’t really go over so well with some people who loved the original skinny design. Well the folks up in Waterloo Canada heard the message loud and clear. For some of you, here is your first peek at the all new BlackBerry 9100 series.. Lets take a quick gander shall we..

We don’t have full spec on the latest edition to the BlackBerry line up, but 3G, WiFi, O.S. 5.0 and at least a 3.2 MP cam with video, flash, and auto focus. Rumor has it that it will basically be a skinny version of the Bold 9700. Also, this may be the first of a new line of 9100 series smartphones with a few others already beginning to pop-up. As more details and release date come forth, we will have it for your right here.
