LinkedIn for BlackBerry gets quickly updated to v1.0.1 to fix bugs. get the update.
Back on March 30th, the Linkedin Mobile development team finally released their long awaited Linkedin for BlackBerry app. Unfortunately like with all new releases, there will be some bumps in the road. A few Linkedin users complained that they were not able to connect to their Linkedin account via the new BlackBerry app. Chad Whitney (Sr. Product Manager at LinkedIn) posted the following update.
The mobile team has posted an updated version of LinkedIn for BlackBerry to our web site, and have uploaded it to BlackBerry App World (available shortly).
This new version addresses the connectivity issues users have reported with BIS and WiFi. If you have seen an “Unable to Connect” or “Invalid email or password” error message on the sign-in screen, please try this new version.

1. Reboot your BlackBerry when prompted. If you don’t, the old version will still be running, and
2. Check your connection settings in the application (Menu > Options). If you had changed these in 1.0 and you were not able to connect, the settings you selected will persist when you upgrade. Selecting Auto should provide the best experience.
