Player for YouTube BlackBerry App gets updated to v1.1.37. Now offers HD Video Support.
One of the best YouTube video players for BlackBerry has just gotten a little better. The Player for YouTube BlackBerry app has just been updated to v1.1.37 and according to the guys over at Smarter Apps . The update now offers HD video support, so you can now watch your some of your favorite videos in HD quality. Smarter Apps has also moved to using an embedded video player inside the app, so that app no longer needs to open the BlackBerry web browser. Some additional improvements are YouTube login for favorites, performance improvements and a few bug fixes. Here is an overview of what else the apps offers:

* Featured, Popular, Top Rated, Newest and Most Viewed Feeds
* Playing videos over RTSP Streaming or Wifi and WAP
* Share video links by email with your friends
* Bookmark your favorite videos for easy access
* Search for videos, including saved search history
* Browse videos by Categories and Tags
* View user channels
* Click on YouTube.com links from other BlackBerry applications
Note: You must have a BlackBerry device with system software 4.6 or above to use Player for YouTube. A Wi-Fi connection is also recommend to reduce data charges, if no Wi-Fi is available a WAP data connection must be available.
