American Airlines Updates Fleet; Adds More AC Ports and Wi-Fi. BlackBerry Users Rejoice!

American Airlines announced that they will be updating their current fleet with 35 Next-Generation Boeing 737-800s. What’s really great is that the new fleet will be 35% more fuel efficient, will include more AC power ports, and all will be equipment with Gogo In-flight Internet Wi-Fi service. This is goods news to BlackBerry users who have Wi-Fi enabled devices. Now you will be able to check e-mail, send instant messages, and have access to your favorite social media networks like Twitter & Facebook during your flight. American Airlines already has 167 planes equipped with Gogo Wi-Fi service, and the 35 additional aircraft shows their commitment to giving BlackBerry users connectivity in the friendly skies.
